Inferior to single-disc Luther Vandross anthologies like, say, The Ultimate Luther Vandross (released in 2001), this disc, part of an extensive budget series of Sony-distributed titles, is seriously flawed for it's lack of "Never Too Much," "Power of Love/Love Power," "Stop to Love," and "There's Nothing Better Than Love" - and that merely accounts for the number one R&B singles that are not here. Casual fans will get a nice overview, but far too many major hits did not make the cut. For whatever reason, the disc is heaviest on The Night I Fell in Love (four songs) and Dance with My Father (three songs), which make up half of the selections.- Andy Kellman.
