This marks a significant milestone for Sublime as "Ensenada" is the first original song written by the band's founding members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson with Jakob Nowell-son of founding front man Bradley Nowell-since he stepped into the role of lead vocalist and guitarist in 2023.
